I come to your company, living room or high school, ready for your questions. The curiosity is palpable.
Then we talk about Haredi life. Who are we, and how do our communities differ? How do matchmaking and attitudes to military service really work? What appears on a screen is not the whole story.
How does an 18-year-old Haredi young man feel ready to become a father? These lives can seem so different.
I love these encounters: listening to your questions, sometimes unspoken, and answering honestly and directly, with a little humour that opens the door to something deeper.
Ask about talks and availabilityI’m Hilik, a Haredi Torah scholar from Bnei Brak. I was born here, grew up here and live this life every day. I studied at Ponevezh, and my family’s roots run deep in this world. My grandfather even founded the first Talmud Torah after the Holocaust. I love Haredi society and its culture, and above all, I love people.
When we meet, I invite you on a short, fascinating journey into Haredi life. Who are we? What is life like from the inside? What lies behind matchmaking, military service or becoming a parent at a young age? I answer honestly and openly, with a little humour along the way.

These encounters are moving for me too: seeing your curiosity and discovery of lives so close by, yet seemingly far away.
And between us? I love bringing in warm cholent, fresh Vizhnitz challah or good gefilte fish. An experience needs flavour.
If you are curious, I’m here to take you on a genuine, funny and especially delicious journey.
